Your Neighbors in Shiloh

Shiloh grew up around a Methodist meeting house in the early 1800s and stayed a small farm village for well over a century. Then the growth came. Most homes here were built in the last 40 years, many of them in subdivisions a short drive from the Scott Air Force Base gate.
Newer homes still need care, and plenty of Shiloh families are new to town and don’t know their system’s history yet. GRP|WEGMAN brings union-trained techs, honest flat-rate pricing, and a phone that’s answered 24/7. We’ve served the Metro East for more than 70 years, and we’ll give you straight answers about what your home needs and what it doesn’t.

What We See in Shiloh Homes

Most of Shiloh is young, but it wasn’t all built at once.

The Original Village

Before the subdivisions, Shiloh was a farm village of a few hundred people. The older homes near Main Street often have aging water lines, older drains, and heating and cooling that was added or replaced over the years.

First-Wave Subdivisions

Homes built in the 1980s and 1990s are now on their second or even third furnace and AC. Water heaters, ductwork, and electrical panels in these homes are worth a closer look.

Growth-Era Homes

Shiloh nearly doubled in size between 2000 and 2020. Many of those homes still run the systems the builder installed, and at 15 to 25 years old, it pays to plan a replacement before one fails in July or January.

The Newest Builds

A new home is easy to forget about. Regular tune-ups help keep manufacturer warranties in good standing and catch small problems early. The At Home Club covers both seasons.

Shiloh
Questions

Still have a question?
Call 618-258-9000, 24/7.

Do you serve all of Shiloh?

Yes. We cover the whole village, from the older streets near Main Street to the subdivisions off Green Mount Road and near I-64. We also serve O’Fallon, Belleville, Fairview Heights, and the rest of the Metro East.

My home is only about 20 years old. Does it really need maintenance?

Yes. Furnaces, AC units, and water heaters wear out on their own schedule, not the house’s. A home built in the early 2000s may still have its original equipment, and that equipment is reaching the age when most systems need replacing.

We just moved to Shiloh. How do we know what shape our system is in?

Schedule a tune-up or service call. Our tech will tell you how old your equipment is, how it’s running, and whether anything needs attention soon, without pushing you into work you don’t need.

Will skipping tune-ups affect my warranty?

It can. Many manufacturer warranties expect regular maintenance, so keep your service records. At Home Club members get spring and fall tune-ups every year.

Do you handle permits in Shiloh?

Yes. When electrical work needs a permit, such as a panel upgrade or EV charger, we pull it and take care of the inspection.
