Electrical Project Manager

GRP|WEGMAN is seeking an Electrical Project Manager with superior leadership skills to be responsible for overall management and supervision of industrial projects (maintenance windows/turnarounds, maintenance, or capital in overall scope). This includes direct supervision of subordinate staff, subcontractors, and other workforce.

The position requires the ability to work on multiple projects at one time and assist in preparation of complex proposals while adhering to time sensitive deadlines. Successful candidate will have demonstrated dependability and self-motivation to work on projects; take initiative to resolve problems; understand resources available and use resources effectively to generate solutions. This position works directly with project superintendents, craft general foremen, safety, quality, and client leadership.

Senior Industrial Estimator

GRP|WEGMAN is looking for a Senior Industrial Estimator, specifically for Mechanical and Piping projects, which will require working on multiple projects at one time and assisting in preparation of complex proposals; analyzing blueprints, specifications and other documentation to prepare time; cost and labor estimates, all while adhering to time sensitive deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare conceptual estimates for a variety of industrial systems, pricing, general administrative and subcontractor cost analysis and final estimation summary
• Recommend which bids to pursue based on a mixture of quantitative and qualitative information       
• Develop and manage scopes of work for all trades       
• Effectively partner with company-wide team members to accurately quantify materials and labor costs       
• Work closely with customers, architects and engineers to ensure satisfaction and provide technical support       
• Maintain a cost database for materials, schedules and labor       
• Assist with system analysis of building components and assist operations staff on project logistics, staging, phasing plans, and building coordination      
• Provide professional and comprehensive deliverables at the completion of estimate       
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, project scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera),and • Estimating software (Autobid and Quotesoft preferred)  
The ability to utilize 3D modeling software to develop estimates is required
• The ability to extract Material Take Offs from 3D modeling software (such as AutoCad Plant 3D, CADWorx, Trimble, Accubid, etc) to develop estimates is preferred

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent    
• Minimum of 10 years Industrial estimating experience     
• Familiarity with major EPC firm types of piping and valve specs
